The room was impeccably clean and huge, with smoke detectors for safety measures. It was a short walk to the bar/restaurant at night, the Rhine River, the cable car, and the mountains. the hotel's location on the right side of the river was delightful.

Location: the hotel was not far from the conservatory and the Niederwalddenkmal which is approximately a 20min walk. My room was absolutely spotless and huge with an excellent view of town...

Loved this popular accommodation with attentive and excellent staff with the good service from the hotel staff. This location was stunning and unbeatable, not far from the train station, the river which is very beautiful and wineries, cable cars of various sorts, and a diverse range of restaurants.

The staff was lovely and nice. the place was clean. the room was excellent and beautiful, equipped with essentials like shower facilities, a hair dryer, and bath sheets. the location of the hotel near the mountains, the Christmas markets of the Rhine Valley, and various cable cars was great. the hotel was also conveniently situated downhill. the salad bar was a plus.

Wonderful 'olde world' German setting in Assmannhausen village. A most picturesque hotel - with excellent breakfasts!!

The nearby church bells may wake any late-sleepers in the mornings! (but, happily, they are shut off for most of the night).

Super base for 1 night with genuinely helpful and attentive staff. Good service from the hotel staff. Absolutely perfect central location, just off a restaurant by the river and the seilbahn. Near the banks of the Rhein.

There was too much noise due to close proximity of the church.

The view was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. We appreciated the spacious room with a nice bathroom. the stunning central location near the town centre and Niederwalddenkmal was great. the salad bar was a plus.

The guest room was silent and had a cosy atmosphere. the hotel is situated in a marvellous and stunning setting, right by the Niederwald memorial, with a diverse range of restaurants nearby. It's also close to the Christmas Markets and the Germania statue.

This place is conveniently located near the Niederwald memorial, offering a delicious breakfast with cheese and meats, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating throughout the stay.

We had a delightful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was just gorgeous, nestled in a charming little town near the river. We were delighted to be on the "right side" of the river, close to the scenic monument and just a short walk away. The staff here provided exceptional service, always friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, even waiting for us as we arrived later than planned. The room was beautiful and spacious, with a balcony that offered stunning views. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet, with its fresh and varied choices. All in all, this place exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it to families seeking a luxurious and comfortable stay.

It can be a bit difficult to find as it is located behind the railway tracks at the rear of the town. But once you find it, you won't be disappointed.

The rooms at Akzent Hotel Berg'S Alte Bauernschanke are totally charming and cozy, giving you a warm and homey feeling. It felt like I was stepping back in time, with each room having a unique and individual touch. I loved how comfortable and inviting the beds were, making it easy to have a good night's sleep.

Personally, I found the Wi-Fi connection a bit unreliable. It wasn't a big deal for me since I wanted to disconnect and enjoy the surroundings, but others might miss the constant internet access.
